As a seasoned fitness coach and athlete, more than anything else, I understand the difference between what a client wants and what a client needs. With my vast fitness experience, I can identify the underlying core issues that prevent you from achieving your goals.

I can help you to discover how to solve those problems that are connected to your feelings about training, chronic. dieting/nutrition and body image, confidence and weight loss.

The goal is to become aware of “overwhelming, negative and unhelpful thoughts” about your training, your body, fitness and nutrition and break the thoughts into smaller parts, so that you can develop “coping strategies” to help you transform both physically and emotionally.

I have a Masters in Counselling Psychology and many years of clinical experience specializing in Gender, Youth/ Parent Counselling, Anxiety, Chronic Pain/ Rehab, Life-Work Balance and Eating Psychology. My clinical background is in Psychology, stems from combining Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy(CBT), Behavioural Modification, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy(SFBT) into my coaching.

I am not your typical fitness coach…
I bring mental awareness and psychology to struggling women who have had a long standing negative experience with aesthetic based fitness and chronic dieting.

From a very human perspective, I teach women how to “show up” in the midst of adversity and cultivate resiliency. In doing so, I provide women with easy strategies to recharge from stress and negativity to create new success.

Resiliency is a critical skill that I teach women to adopt to win in all areas of their lives.

CBT-Fitness Health & Resiliency Coaching is: The integration of fitness, cognitions, thoughts, emotions, feelings, abilities,and behaviour that affects, one’s wellness, performance and aesthetics goals.
I use Resiliency Skills, CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and Eating Psychology as the foundations to feel and look better.
