Relationship 101- I Love You Isn't Enough

Do You Have Partner That Keeps Telling You He Loves You?

Well, saying “I LOVE YOU” just isn’t enough, in my opinion. You need support!

Ask yourself this; do you have a partner that supports “you” and your healthy lifestyle, eating habits, and your training routine? Because the support you may receive from the people/ partner in your life makes a huge difference in how successful you are when it comes to your health and fitness goals. Life is much easier and more pleasant when your partner supports your training and eating nutritiously.

How hard is it when you are trying to keep your diet plentiful with whole foods and your partner ONLY EAT PIZZA AND MCDONALDS AND SITS ON THE COUCH ON A DEVICE? It’s hard and this will cause conflict in a relationship.

If your feeling resentful and “resistance” about your partner’s choices, it’s perfectly normal but consider these three things:

1. Stay intrinsically motivated. Look inside yourself for drive and motivation. Do. Not seek approval from your partner regarding the choices you make with food and exercise.

2. Stay passionate about health and fitness and continue to inspire and communicate with your partner... maybe they will “ catch on.” Maybe at some point, your partner will notice all of your physical and mood changes and he/she will want that for themselves.

3. “DO YOU…” Dig deep into your health and fitness passions. Be clear and confident about your decisions and don’t look back. Just do it.

Hope that helps
